Goal setting is not just writing our goals, planning our activities, taking actions and voila, we achieve our goals.
We can’t control the outcome, but we can certainly control our mind and our actions.
We can’t control the wind, but we can adjust the sail.

What are the mysterious X factors which can help your success?
In my opinion, these seven factors can possibly help us achieve our goals.
Our capability, knowledge or skills can contribute to success in our goals. So, never stop learning and practice. As we learn and practice, we develop our thinking and skills.
Mentality means, “do you have determination?” Athletes are the type of person who has strong or winning mentality because they don’t give up easily. Why not model their resilience even though we aren’t athletes.
Our emotions can affect our performance and decision making. Thus being aware of our emotions and manage them to our advantage is a good thing. Discover more about positive emotions and entrepreneurship.
4. Empowering Belief
We all need empowering belief to stretch our capability. What do you believe in yourself? Start with the statement like: I believe…..If you often think that, “I believe that life is hard.” That may indicate that you have a sort of limiting belief. Sometimes limiting belief can limit us from pursuing the goals we want. Turning your limiting belief into an empowering belief can motivate you further.
Motivation can make a big difference. Find your motivation. Why do you do what you do? What motivates you to wake up every morning? If you have good motivation, you will go all out for your goals and try your best in everything you do. You’ll find solutions easily and you’ll be creative.
6. Spiritual Factor
Spirituality goes beyond religion. The book “coaching with heart” by the author Jerry Lynch Phd says that Noble talent or spiritual factor can contribute 60% of the outcome. They are inside of us. They become our characters and values. Courage, commitment, trust, respect, patience, persistence, love, caring, integrity, gratitude, humor, humility, a sense of purpose are examples of spiritual factors. Thus, nurturing the characters we want to become can help us in achieving our goals.
7. Support I think support plays an important role too. Can you achieve your success or goals alone? Or do you need support or help from other people? Of course. Family and friends can support you. However, we need support more than family and friends support in building the business. Even CEO and athletes need help too, they benefit from coaching to keep their performance on track and do better. I believe business owners like you need support if you care about your goals. Today, personal coaching is for everyone who seek help and support. You can also get support from the network or community. Therefore, Facebook or Linkedin group are popular, because people want to connect and get support.
So, these X factors are no longer mysterious. 😆
